12th September 2022: BPSC Lecturer Exam Date Announced!

The BPSC has announced the exam dates for the BPSC Lecturer Exam. The examination for Advt. Nos.- 21/2020, 39/2020, 40/2020, 43/2020, 45/2020, and 61/2020 will be held on 27th September 2022. BPSC Lecturer Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to check the minimum eligibility criteria set for the candidates before appearing for the BPSC Lecturer Exam 2020. BPSC Lecturer Selection Process

The commission has given the details for the BPSC Lecturer selection process 2020 along with the official notification in Government Polytechnic / Government Women Polytechnic Institutes. It is necessary for the candidates to know about the selection process in detail before appearing for the examination. There will be a three-tier selection process which is mentioned below. 

  • Academic Record and Research Work - 20 marks
  • Evaluation of Work Knowledge and Teaching Skill through Written Test - 40 marks.
  • Interview - 15 marks
  • For Lecturer engaged on contract basis - 25 marks

BPSC Lecturer Exam Pattern

As discussed earlier, the commission will conduct a written exam to test the skills of each shortlisted candidate. The dates for this written exam are yet to be announced, however, you should start your preparations as early as possible. Here is the BPSC Lecturer exam pattern for English Lecturer

  • The written exam will have a weightage of 40 marks.
  • There will be 80 objective questions in this exam.

BPSC Lecturer Merit List 

The Bihar Public Service Commission will declare the merit list after all the stages of the selection process have been completed. Only the candidates who qualify all the stages of the selection process (Academic Performance Evaluation, Research Performance including the Academic Record and Research work, Evaluation of work Knowledge and Teaching skill through written Test (objective), interview) will be recruited for the BPSC Lecturer Post. The BPSC Lecturer final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination, interview, and weightage on a contract basis.
