The result is officially out for the Mains exam that was conducted from 26th to 29th May 2022. A total number of 2548 candidates appeared in the Mains exam of which 509 candidates are selected for the Interview. The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the result for the preliminary stage exam. The candidates who clear the Preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the Main exam. The CGPSC Main exam will be held on May 26, 27, 28 and 29.
The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the model answer key of the prelims paper that took place on 13th February 2022. The last date to raise the objections is 21st Feb 2022. There are certain eligibility criteria that have to be fulfilled by the candidates in order to be eligible for the posts in the CGPSC Exam. Read below to know the criteria details:

Candidates applying for the CGPSC State Service Exam should have a Graduate degree from any recognized university or board to be eligible.
Follow the below-given process in order to apply for the CGPSC Recruitment 2022. The candidates can apply online between 1st to 30th December 2021.
Step 1 - Proceed to the CGPSC official website. The candidates can proceed to the application link for the CGPSC Exam.
Step 2 - Fill in all the details like name, email address, mobile number, email id, password, etc.
Step 3 - Login with an email address and password and fill in all the personal and educational details in the application form.
Step 4 - Upload the photograph, signature, and other relevant documents in the prescribed format. The candidates can use the Testbook Resize Tool.
Step 5 - Submit the form after rechecking all the information.
Step 6 - Alternatively, you can visit the CGPSC Official Website and click on "Apply online".
Step 7 - Repeat steps 2 to 5 to submit your application.
The candidates applying for the CGPSC exam will have to undergo the following selection stages:
Candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims exam will only be eligible for the CGPSC mains exam. Prelims exam is only a screening test to select candidates for the main examination. Marks obtained in prelims will not be considered at the time of finals selection. Candidate who qualify the mains examination as per the cut-off score decided by the Board for each category will be invited for the interview round. The final merit list will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in the mains exam and interview.

The CGPSC Prelims will have 2 compulsory papers of 2 hours each. The questions will be objective type multiple-choice questions. Answering wrong will result in deduction of 1/3rd marks. The two papers in the prelims exam are General Studies and Aptitude Test. Refer the table below for more information about the CGPSC Prelims Exam Pattern:

Question paper in the main examination will be of conventional nature i.e. short/medium/long answer type. There are seven papers in the CGPSC main examination of 200 marks each and interview of 150 marks. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer.
