UGC NET Exam Analysis 2022 Out for 20th September 2022 (Shift 1)! The Phase II exam of the UGC NET is scheduled to be conducted from 20th September to 22nd September 2022 and then Phase III will be conducted from 23rd September to 14th October 2022. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is conducted twice a year (except this year) for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Assistant Professor. In this article, you will be provided with an accurate UGC NET Exam Analysis for each subject. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. Before we start our analysis candidates need to be aware of certain points as mentioned below.
- The UGC NET Exam 2022 is scheduled in two shifts, the first shift will be from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the 2nd shift will be from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM.
- The mode of examination is completely online and the examination is being conducted in a total of 81 subjects across 200+ cities.
- The UGC NET Exam consists of two papers - Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I will have a total of 50 questions for 100 marks (means 2 marks for each question) and Paper-II will have a total of 100 questions for 200 marks (again 2 marks for each question).
- The important thing the candidates need to be aware of is that there will be no negative markings.

- As per the feedback from the students the papers, both 1 & 2, were lengthy but were not tough. Those who practiced time management must have found it easy.
- Paper 2 had some of the questions from the UGC NET Previous Year Papers. Topics from which the question was repeated include Statistics and Economics. Paper 1 was easy-moderate compared to paper 1.
- In paper 2 surprisingly, no good quality questions from the Incom Tax Amendments were asked.
- In paper 1, questions asked from DI were from the PYPs and the comprehension was a bit time-consuming.
- The reasoning section of paper 1 had questions majorly from missing numbers, series and clocks.

To contain the spread of coronavirus candidates need to follow the guidelines as provided by the National Testing Agency.
- Candidates should wear face masks/covers and maintain social distancing.
- Only Admit Card, Id Proof, BallPoint Pen, Additional Photograph, Hand Sanitizer, and Transparent Water Bottle are allowed into the exam hall.
- No candidates will be allowed to attend the exam without the COVID-19 Self Declaration form attached to the admit card.
