The candidates must note that earlier, CTET was considered as equivalent to HTET/STET but now onwards, this has been withdrawn. This means that now in Haryana, CTET will not be equivalent to HTET or STET. Check the notice below.

16th September 2022: HTET 2022 Short Notification Out!

The HTET 2022 Exam will be conducted on 12th and 13th November 2022. The candidates can apply for HTET from 17th September 2022 to 27th September 2022. The candidates will be able to make corrections in their application forms from 28th to 30th September 2022.

8th September 2022: HTET 2022 Exam Dates Out!

On 8th September, a tweet was posted on DPR Haryana Twitter Page at 3:09 P.M. stating that the HTET 2022 Exam will be conducted on 12th and 13th November 2022. It also states that the registration process for the same will begin soon.

  • A scanned copy of a coloured passport-size photo in JPG format 20kb to 50kb.
  • A scanned copy of the signature in JPG format 10kb to 20kb.

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for every level in HTET 2022 are different. The criteria for Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Post Graduate Teacher have been given accordingly. 

HTET 2022 Minimum Educational Qualification: (Level-I Primary Teacher)

  • The candidate should have passed senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE regulation
  • The candidate should have passed senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE regulations
  • The candidate should have passed senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • The candidate should have passed senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special education).
  • The candidate should have completed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). The candidate should have passed matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary/ Graduation/ Post-graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
  • Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HTET 2022 Minimum Educational Qualification for Level-II Trained Graduate Teacher (Class VI-VIII)

  • The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • The candidate should have completed graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations that are issued from time to time in this matter.
  • The candidate should have passed graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • The candidate should have passed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). The candidate should have passed matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Sec

HTET 2022 Minimum Educational Qualification: (Level-III Post Graduate Teacher)

  • The candidate should have a Postgraduate degree in the specific subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
  • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary/Graduation/Post-graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects. And With a Consistent good academic record.

NOTE:

  1. The candidate should have passed a degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) will only be considered. However, in the case of B.Ed, a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India shall only be considered. 
  2. In the case of Direct Recruitment ‘Good Academic Record’ means the candidates having 50% marks after taking an average of any three from 10th/12th/Graduation or Post-graduation as the case may be. The candidate must however have 50% marks in post-graduation. For PGT Computer Science, the candidate must have at least 55%marks in Graduation or Post-graduation as per the case.

The questions will be from various topics that include language from Hindi and English, General Studies paper will have questions from Quantitative aptitude, reasoning and General knowledge, and current affairs of Haryana, and then Mathematics and Environmental Studies paper.
