Age is the major criteria where the candidate is subjected to note the minimum and the maximum age to apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam.

  • Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit necessary certificate(s) in original / copies at the time of joining and at any subsequent stage of the recruitment process as required by IBPS / Participating Organization(s). 
  • Ex-Servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the Central Government in Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for Ex-Servicemen for securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group ‘C’ /’D’ under the Central Government. 
  • However, such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit of reservation on the second occasion for Ex-Servicemen in Central Government jobs. 
  • Candidates who are still in the armed forces and desire to apply under the Ex-Servicemen category, also whose date of completion of a specific period of engagement (SPE) is completed in one year from the last date for receipt of online application i.e. on or before 20th July 2023, are eligible to apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification 2022

Candidates can check the educational qualifications required to apply for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2022. Candidates should have completed their Graduation on or before 1st August 2022. Only candidates fulfilling this eligibility will be allowed to apply for the vacancy.

IBPS Clerk Nationality 2022

The nationality is the first aspect seen by the higher authorities and will proceed with the candidate for the further rounds.

The candidate must be either:

  • An Indian citizen or
  • A Subject from Nepal or
  • A Subject From Bhutan or
  • A Tibetian who came over India before 1st January 1962 who intended to settle in India Permanently.
  • The candidates who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia Ethiopia, Vietnam, Burma to settle in India permanently.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2022

The candidate has to undergo two stages of the IBPS Clerk selection process.

Stage 1 - Preliminary Examination - The Prelims Exam comprises majorly three subjects that are English, Numerical Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. The exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.

Stage 2 - Mains Examination - The shortlisted listed candidates will now attend the IBPS Clerk Mains Examination which will be conducted for a total of 4 subjects that are General/Finance Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, and computer aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude for a total of 200 marks.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2022

The exam conducting body in a detailed notification mentions the list of cities for scheduling the prelims, mains, and pre-examination training. The Bank may add more training centres or remove some of the ones that are already listed. Candidates who choose pre-examination training should access their call letter for training on the Bank's website by providing their registration number, password, and date of birth. The call letter will not be mailed in hard copy.
