The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has released Exam Dates for Clerk, Clerk (IT), Clerk Accounts, Clerk DEO, Clerk Legal. The exam for the Clerk (IT) will be conducted on 22nd October 2022, Clerk (Accounts) will be conducted on 19th November 2022, Clerk Legal will be conducted on 17th December 2022, Clerk (DEO) will be conducted on 4th December 2022 and Clerk will be conducted on 15th January 2023. PSSSB Clerk Selection Process 2022
The officials at the Commission will shortlist deserving candidates on the basis of the individual PSSSB Clerk Results of the written examination. Candidates who clear the written test will be eligible to move on to the next stage, which is, Typing Test.
A final list of selected candidates will be posted to the official website of the Punjab SSSB. He/she will be disqualified if a candidate does not meet the eligibility requirements or is absent in any of the selection process stages.
Written Test
Candidates enrolling for the PSSSB Clerk Recruitment Examination 2022 will have to appear for the written test. The test comprises 100 questions of 1 mark each, based on subjects including English, Punjabi, General Knowledge, Reasoning/ Mental Ability, and Computer IT. The final selection will be based solely on the results obtained in the written examination by the candidates only.
Typing Test
The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board will shortlist candidates based on the results of the written examination and call in such qualified candidates for a typing test round. The test is to be held in Punjabi only. Candidates who manage to get through the round and secure more than the prescribed PSSSB Clerk Cut-Off marks will be recruited for the post.
