RPSC RAS Mains Result Out on 30th August 2022! The exam took place on 20th and 21st March 2022. This is in reference to the 2021 cycle. The candidates can download the mains result PDF from below. The candidates could apply till 2nd September 2021 for RPSC RAS Exam. A total of 988 vacancies had been released for State Services and Subordinate Services. The RPSC RAS Selection Process is divided into three stages i.e. prelims exam, mains exam and interview/personality test/ viva voce. The candidates who cleared the mains exam will be called for the RPSC RAS Interview, the date of which will be announced later. The final selection will be made according to the performance in the main exam and viva voce. 

  • The RPSC RAS Mains Exam took place on the 20th and 21st March 2022. 
  • The salary structure of all the posts under the Rajasthan Administrative Services is different.
  • A certain number of vacancies had been reserved for the candidates who belong to the TSP areas of the Rajasthan state. 
  • The RPSC RAS 2021 application process was held online. The Commission accepted applications between 28th July to 27th August 2021 but the process was postponed due to technical reasons. Later the applications were accepted between 4th August to 2nd September 2021.

22nd February 2022: RPSC RAS Prelims Result Cancelled!

Following the Rajasthan High Court decision the court has ordered to cancel the RPSC RAS Prelims exam, the already announced mains exam dates are also postponed. The RPSC is yet to announce an official notification in this regard. However, the decision might be challenged via a higher bench.

Step 1: If you have not registered into the database of the commission, create your login ID and password through the SSO portal. 

Step 2: Once you have created your login ID and password, you will find the section of ongoing recruitment. 

Step 3: Select the RPSC RAS recruitment exam and fill the application form with all the details in their respective columns. 

Step 4: Once you have filled all information correctly, you can upload the scanned copies of the required documents.

RPSC RAS Selection Process 

The RPSC RAS selection process includes three stages. The details about all these stages have been given below so that the candidates can understand all the levels they need to qualify before they finally get selected.

RPSC RAS Preliminary exam 

Consists of objective questions and can be held in an online or offline format. 

RPSC RAS Mains Exam

Successful candidates equal to 15 times the total vacancies shall be appearing for the mains exam. The questions in the main exam will be of descriptive type. 

RPSC RAS Personality Test and Viva-voce -

The candidates who are selected after the main exam will then be called for a personality test and viva - voce. This stage also carries marks that will be added to the overall result of the candidate. 

The final selection of the candidate at the post of RPSC Rajasthan Administrative services will be made according to their overall result.

The age of a candidate when they are applying for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam should lie between 21 and 40 years as of 1st January 2022.

RPSC RAS Educational Qualification:

The candidate must hold a Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission

RPSC RAS Experience:

This RPSC RAS eligibility criterion is only applicable to the non gazetted employees. They should have completed at least five years of service before they apply for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam.

Personality & Viva-voce Syllabus

Candidates who qualify in the written test of the Main Examination shall be called an interview for a personality test which carries 100 marks. The Commission awards marks in respect of character, personality, physique, etc. Candidates are also tested on knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
However, for selection to the Rajasthan Police Service, candidates having ‘C’ Certificate of N.C.C. shall be given preference. The marks so awarded shall be added to the marks obtained in the written test by each such candidate.

RPSC RAS Admit Card 

The RPSC RAS admit card is released for the main examination. The commission uploads the RPSC RAS admit card of each candidate on the official website of the commission. One must carry their admit card to the examination hall as, without it, you will not be permitted to give the examination. To download your RPSC RAS admit card, follow the steps detailed here. 

Step 1. Once you login to the website with the Username and password, go to the admit card section.
Step 2. There select the RPSC RAS admit card. Check the details on the document once it is displayed on your screen.
Step 3. Download the RPSC RAS admit card and get at least two printouts of the document.

RPSC RAS Answer Key

The RPSC RAS answer key is released in two stages. The commission first releases a provincial answer key that is open to changes and suggestions. After all the revisions are completed, the Commission will release the RPSC RAS Answer key; one can download the answer key from the Commission's official website. You can use this to calculate your marks and estimate what your RPSC RAS result will be.
