SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2022

The SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2022 is one of the most important aspects of the recruitment process. Candidates who fail to satisfy the prescribed SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria must note that their forms will be rejected. If candidates still choose to apply and are found not to be satisfying the required criteria, they might be debarred from the examination at any point in the recruitment process. SBI Clerk has prescribed three aspects for determining the eligibility of candidates. These are the SBI Clerk Age limit, nationality and educational qualification.

SBI Clerk Educational Qualification 2022 

The reference date for the calculation of essential academic requirements is 30th November 2022. Below is the education qualification that is essential to be eligible for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022:

  • You must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a Recognized University.
  • Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the certificate is as on or before the reference date i.e. 30th November 2022.
  • Final year candidates are also eligible to apply if their date of passing is on or before the reference date.

Also, note that the date of passing eligibility will be considered as that mentioned on the candidate's mark sheet, certificate or provisional certificate as issued by the university or institution.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

The applications for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022 are invited only from Indian citizens.

SBI Clerk Selection Process 2022

SBI Clerk Syllabus 2022

The SBI Clerk Syllabus 2022 comprises various sections in the Preliminary and the Mains Examination. The SBI Clerk Preliminary Syllabus 2022 will have questions on English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks for the Preliminary examination will be 100 marks. SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2022

SBI Clerk Exam 2022 will be conducted in two phases, i.e. Preliminary Examination, and Mains Examination, after which SBI will conduct the language test for applicable candidates only and then publish the final merit list of the successful candidates.   • The SBI Clerk 2022 Prelims exam will be Objective in nature.
  • The SBI Clerk Prelims Exam will be bilingual i.e in Hindi and English except for the General English section.
  • There are no minimum qualifying marks for an individual subject or overall.
  • There is sectional timing i.e. separate time for each subject.
  • A negative marking scheme is involved in the SBI Clerk 2022 Preliminary exam. 1/4th mark for the incorrect answers will be deducted.

  • The SBI Clerk Mains exam will be bilingual i.e. available in Hindi and English Language.

SBI Clerk Pre-Exam Training 2022

SBI may arrange pre-examination training at certain centres, the list of which is given in the table below for SC/ST/ESM/ Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India. Also, note that the pre-examination training cost has to be borne by the candidates.
