UPPCL has released the official notification for UPPCL Technician Recruitment 2022 on 16th September 2022! All interested candidates can check their eligibility and then apply online for the UPPCL Technician Recruitment 2022. The application window of UPPCL Technician will be open from 27th September 2022 to 19th October 2022. The last date to pay the application fee through online mode will be 19th October 2022 and through offline mode it will be 21st October 2022. 

• In 2022, UPPCL has announced a total of 891 vacancies for the Post of Technician.
• The candidate must be in the age group of 18 to 40 years and should fulfil the qualification requirements or else, their application will be rejected. Also, note that the reference date for the same will be 1st January 2022.
• The Selection procedure will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT).
• The UPPCL Technician CBT consists of two parts i.e. Part I( Computer Knowledge) and Part-II. The written examination, on the whole, is for 250 marks.
• Candidates securing qualifying marks in the CBT examination will be shortlisted for the merit list.
• Furthermore, the UPPCL Technician will receive a salary in the pay scale of Rs 27200 to Rs. 86100.

UPPCL Technician Selection process is based on Computer Based Test (CBT). This CBT is further divided into two parts, the details of these parts are given below. 

Part 1: Computer Knowledge (Based on the pattern of NIETLIT CCC)

Part 2: General Awareness & Reasoning Ability, General Hindi, General English and Technical Knowledge

Part 1

Paper will have 50 Qs based on Computer Knowledge (NIELIT "CCC" Pattern). Each question will carry 1 mark. Negative markings include deduction of 1/4th marks for every wrong answer.

Note: It is compulsory for the candidates to secure a minimum of 20 marks on this computer knowledge test.

Part 2

The Part 2 of UPPCL Technician Technician 2022 exam will have 4 sections that include Technical Knowledge, General Studies & Reasoning Ability, General English and General Hindi.

UPPCL Technician Eligibility Criteria 2022
